There is also a third type of systems: wormhole systems. These systems only contain a wormhole, and no other structures, asteroids or planets. Wormholes are connected to other wormholes. In the map the direction of the wormhole can be determined by looking at the small arrow on the line that connects two wormholes. Stars and wormholes can be seen from multiple systems away. There are eight asteroid types, and each has its own unique rock, ore and crystal type that can be used in manufacturing. There are five planet types: green (Terran) planets, yellow (desert) planets, red (burnt) planets, white (ice) planets and purple (alien) planets. Each planet type has its own unique atmosphere color. Segments are the shape of a pentagon, and together the twelve segments form a dodecahedron. Each segment contains two random resource types. Planets can be seen from a neighboring system. There are also blackholes (or wormholes) that can suck in unsuspecting players or unwatched ships. Players should take caution not to fall into them, which will cause you to teleport across the system. There are three station types: shops from the Trade Guild, neutral abandoned stations and pirate stations. The shops are friendly, and they will always sell you blocks, even if the trade guild is currently at war with you. Abandoned stations contain alien creatures, and the pirate station is hostile. Pirate stations have active turrets and they will try to destroy your ship. If a pirate station is nearby, pirates will constantly send waves of ships after you. Terran and desert planets also have a chance to spawn structures on them. Terran planets will spawn cities and desert planets will spawn pyramids. This is the third version of automated mining drone, programmed with ingame scripting. This version has some improvements, making it available for use in your own worlds. It is not more divided in drone and carrier, it's all in one ship, and this is much more easy to use. It still has merge block, which can be used for carrying drone with other ship. It is not for piloting actually, cause you see nothing from cockpit.Ī) Remember connector - You can set connector, you're docked to as your drone base connector, to which it will return to drop off ore. This function can be called from rear remote control.ģ. Dock to connector, using camera (pres "1") or external view ("V"). This step can be tricky, because i've placed 4 landing gears around connector and they all should be locked before you connect. You must place your drone almost ideally coaxially to base connector to lock all 4 of them. These gears are supposed to prevent permanent connector crashing while drone is docking.
